Chella Man is a deaf, transgender, Jewish, Chinese-American actor, vlogger, model, artist, and activist. Born in 1998, he began to lose his hearing at age four and was profoundly deaf by 13 and received Cochlear implants soon after. He also experienced extreme gender dysphoria as a child and took to YouTube to share his experiences. “There is an extreme lack of representation for young, Deaf, queer, Jewish, Asian, transgender artists...So, I decided to be my own representation.” In 2018, he became the first deaf, transgender model signed to IMG modeling agency.
